Review: Brittle ABS straps makes for a bad bar mount, EXCELLENT LIGHT
This my review after only one use(update below). I own and have used many headlamps.

The good:
VERY bright(think close to daylight)
VERY easy to focus from spot all the way to flood and back(even when riding a bike)
AA batteries(can easily be bought and found anywhere inexpensively, rechargeable available, multiple uses)
sturdy construction except for read bellow.

The bad:
I'm pretty sure this is made of ABS plastic which is brittle. So if you drop it the plastic parts may snap, crack, or shatter.
The bar mount feature broke when mounting it on my bike's handlebar. One of the two threaded straps snapped off while I was still trying to mount and adjust the thing so I doubt it would ever survive being mounted on anything moving or vibrating. Thankfully worm gear/screw hose claps that you can buy at your local hardware store may be able to take the place of the thin, weak, and brittle straps.
